Winter Diary

Published on 6 February 2025 at 12:15

My last post was in late October, which means I missed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's on my blog. All I can say is that it has been three of the busiest months I've had, in the best way possible. The college semester wrapped up beautifully, and I had a couple of really fun performances to prepare for.

Thanksgiving and Christmas passed with family and friends, lots of great food, and gifts. I start gift hunting as early as summer, because I want to find something meaningful for each person on my list. I really treasure being able to cook along with my mom during the holiday season, because we get to cook a lot of the special family recipes. Some recipes, we only make once a year, and I love being able to practice them.

Being home away from university, homework, and work is a blessing. The cold, snowy days and nights were spent cozy at home, there were movies and hot chocolate, board games, blankets, staying up late and sleeping in. It was as if time stopped passing for almost two months.

New Year's came, and with it came reflections and new dreams. I might write a post just on reflections, there's so much I want to say. I realized that for the first time, I have no idea where I'll be at when 2026 comes.

I've also entered a stage of huge growth in university, knowing that I will look back and see the difference.

I'm glad to be back writing, I kept up my personal diary, but I missed posting here. I don't know who reads this but see you soon!
